Directed by Sue Maslin, the 30 minute documentary provides an intimate look at the making of the smash hit film, The Dressmaker starring Kate Winslet. With access to all areas, it traces how the creative vision of its director, Jocelyn Moorhouse was realised by the production designer Roger Ford, the cinematographer Don McAlpine, makeup and hair stylist Shane Thomas, and the costume designers Marion Boyce and Margot Wilson. Including previously unseen behind the scenes footage as well as interviews with the author Rosalie Ham, cast and crew, the documentary traces the journey from best selling novel to a cinema classic much loved by Australian audiences.
